Clothing
Informality and island attire is the general
rule. With tropical weather year round, loose fitting cotton or summer
clothing, such as short sleeves and short pants are highly recommended.
Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are an absolute necessity. Bring comfortable
shoes, including athletic shoes for walking, beach slippers, and casual
loafers or dress sandals for dining out. Evenings November through February
tend to be a bit cooler and may require a long sleeve pullover or windbreaker.
Additionally, most buildings are kept air-conditioned and can be quite
cold.

Water & Electricity
Tap water
is generally not recommended for drinking while staying in the CNMI.
However, most of the major hotels operate reverse-osmosis water treatment
within their facilities. If it is not adequately clear that the water
within your hotel/motel is safe, bottled mineral water can be purchased
at any shop, convenience store, or supermarket. Electrical power outlets
are 120V, 60Hz
